Japanese Super Car Goodness

I love cars. Since I have yet to own a really nice car or the car of my dreams, I’m forced to observe from afar. Today I stumbled across this interesting site. It’s chock full of Japanese Super Car goodness. I had to break out the Bounty paper towels to clean up my desk after seeing those pics. There was drool everywhere. There are tons of pictures of cars we here in the states can only dream about because they will never see the light of day on American soil. We have our federal and state governments to thank for that due to their strict emissions standards. I was giddy because there are a bunch of pics of my favorite car of all time, the Nissan Skyline GTR. I fell in love with that car when my friend let me drive his a few summers ago in Okinawa. It’s an awesome car. I thought I’d share the love with you guys.

Winamp Playlist Top 8 Snap Shot

I’m always listening to music. It’s a huge part of my life. Since I’m not making music on a regular basis anymore (Haven’t played Piano or Trumpet since college) I guess the closest I can get is listening to it. I sing at church on Wednesdays and Sundays and at Tuesday night prayer meeting but it’s not quite the same. I’ve got music playing constantly. Music wakes me up in the morning. Music accompanies me on my way to Sleepyland at night. Most of the time in between those two is filled with music. So I thought I’d post a snapshot of what’s playing right now on my randomly generated Winamp Playlist. (Idea borrowed from Wilson who did something similar in a post earlier this week.) Here’s the Current Top 8 (at least until I hit the randomize button again):

1. Cardigans – My Favorite Game

2. Michael Kamen – Band of Brothers Opening Theme

3. Justin Timberlake – Rock Your Body

4. Linkin Park – H! VLTG3 (Evidence ft. Pharoahe Monch and DJ Babu)

5. Zero 7 – I Have Seen

6. Linkin Park – PPR:KUT (Cheapshot and Jubacca ft. Rosco and Planet Asia)

7. Coldplay – Politik

8. Ministry of Sound – Zombie Nation

I cleaned things up a bit down below. It looked rather silly having 4 or 5 identical or near identical posts saying Happy Thanksgiving one after the other. It’s nice to see though that even when there is a problem, the Blogger servers are backing everything up so that when things get back to normal, all your posts are put up post haste. Wish I had known that last week. I took the extraneous ones away and left the one that people actually commented on. That was cool. I finally got some comments!! Thanks Rachel and Wilson for both the Turkey Day well wishes and the comments period. Speaking of be Rachel and Wilson, sure to check out Wilson’s Site and Rachel’s Blog. Both are very informative in their own ways. Racingmix has evolved into a multicultural melting pot/gathering place where various topics relating to cultures and issues facing young adults today are discussed. Rachel’s Blog gives insight into the life of a talented music major at Baylor University whose attempting to survive the final days of her undergraduate career while trying to squeeze in some valuable reading and knitting time where possible. She’s a Seamstress/Costume Designer as well. The witty recollections of her experiences are always a good read. Well back to work. That darn light on the phone will not stop blinking, which means I’ve got work to do.

Testing…

Quick test to see if this thing is working again. A couple of posts I tried to put up last week got swallowed up by the Blogger monster. They went into the digital blackhole never to be seen again. Oh look they’re showing up now. (See Below.) All I wanted to do was wish you guys Happy Thanksgiving. Now it shows up after the fact. Thanks for nothing Blogger!! J/K Blogger is great when it’s working (which is most of the time actually). I just had the darndest time putting anything up last week. I was trying to squeeze some posts in last week before the Thanksgiving break. Anyway, it appears to be working now so I’m happy.
